Energy Efficiency in Gov. Buildings Policy
|
This policy aims to raise awareness, promote energy
within Government entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The policy comes in support of the approved Abu Dhabi
Emirate Demand Side Management Strategy and Executive
Council Circular No (3) of 2017 concerning the Manual of
Water and Energy Rationalization at the Main Offices of
the Government Entities and their Facilities in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Water Tankering Policy
|
This policy applies to all activities related to the
water and wastewater services provided through tankers
and aims to enhance tanker management in the Emirate of
Abu Dhabi.
This policy applies to the licensed Network Companies
(ADDC, AADC, and ADSSC), who are responsible for the
distribution of drinking/non-drinking water and the
collection of wastewater.
This policy also applies to the tankering industry and
in particular any entity or individual undertaking the
activity of drinking/non-drinking water or wastewater
water tankering.

Recycled Water Policy
|
This policy is applicable to all activities related to
the studies and distribution of recycled water in the
Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Regulatory Policy for Electric Vehicle Charging
Infrastructure
|
This policy aims at defining the deployment framework
for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) in Abu
Dhabi that supports the Department of Transport’s Low
Emissions Vehicle Strategy and acts as an enabler for
the EV transition opportunity and similarly supports Abu
Dhabi’s readiness and appropriate scalability of EVSE
requirements to meet future demand.

Regulatory Policy for Clean Energy Certificates
|
This Policy sets out the implementation regulations for
developing a clean energy certificate scheme
(“Certificate Scheme”) in the Emirate, as a measure to
support the carbon footprint reduction of power
generation and to meet the growing interest of corporate
clients and households to contribute to the fight
against climate change.

Business Continuity Management Policy for the Energy
Sector
|
This policy concerning business continuity management
aims to direct entities holding a license issued by the
Department of Energy to develop and maintain a business
continuity management program (BCM Program), in
accordance with National Emergency Crisis and Disasters
Management Authority (NCEMA) Standard 7000 for Business
Continuity Management, to ensure the continued
performance of their prioritized activities (at a
minimum) during and following an Emergency, Crisis, or
Disaster.
